Frustrated with the current presidential election, and the fear driving entertainment news programs teaching bigotry, racism, and prejudiced, I wrote a poem.
It was on a whim and purely a way to vent.
It got put in an anthology. My first to be included. Big thanks to the editors.
This morning I read about a submission call for Summer themed stories under 500 words. Then, I wrote a non-fiction piece on my phone while waiting for the gym to open. After that, I subbed it in and got accepted.
Pure Slush is a publisher out of Australia. Big thanks to the editor Matt for the quick acceptance. I am rather proud of this story, Diving Through the Golden Arches, as it is true, and can’t wait for you all to read it.
