I have been behind on updates and I do apologize, but a lot has happened since I last blogged.
First of all: I am a proud dad of a beautiful girl.
In addition, Heartfelt Flows and Misery has been edited. Now it is being formatted and then the freebies will go out and the collection will go live on Amazon.
But wait! There's more.
"Rituals of a Wild Species" got an early acceptance for Southern Fried Autopsies. That cover may be the best one so far. Lynn Lesher is a phenomenal cover designer.
"Ugly as Sin" will soon be out in CRITD III. And "Butterflies in the Killing Fields" received an acceptance letter for part IV, tentatively titled Ghosts. I conducted a lot of research into a dark time in Cambodia's history for the latter.
More novels, short stories, novellas, and even a collaboration are in the works.
Stay tuned! Thanks for sticking with me.
My legs hurt! This training program is no joke. I’ve posted my routine to Spiffy Cats and would love to hear your thoughts.
Also I’m 12 weeks out from my competiton again on August 20. Time to drop 12kg in 12 weeks. Hunger pangs and heavy training commence!
The cover is set. The stories are with three very capable beta readers. Expect it soon.
Big thanks to Orm and my mother for their collaborative efforts.
This one is all about training. Not only is it helpful for anyone wanting to add size and tone theirnarms, but it also has a fun picture of me goofing around in a Japanese shop last Halloween.

And as always, thanks for reading, and thanks to Spiffy Cats for the opportunity to share my love for physical fitness and the sport of Bodybuilding.
This latest article shares all of my diet secrets for the competition. Ok, not all of them. I mean, I have to keep a few for myself.
Enjoy reading about my 12 weeks of torture.
As always on this website, scroll carefully or you may stumble across nearly nude models…in case it offends you.
Thanks for the interview, Mirren Hogan. I am currently reading her latest novel, Night Witches. It is a treat!

Burning Willow Press has seen fit to publish my novel “The Rut.” Huge thanks to Edd Sowder and Kindra Sowder for including me in their great lineup of releases and with an incredible roster of talented authors.
The contract has been signed and the release date is tentative. As the ball gets rolling, I’ll keep you posted.
Expect cover art reveals. Blurbs. Book release parties. And a few freebies, and other exclusive content, for any readers that subscribe to my email list. I’ll likely give you a hefty e-book of short stories once the novel is released.
Stay near and dear as the countdown begins.
In the meantime, here’s the premise:
Relationships require hard work. If they are to last, sacrifices must be made. At what point does the idea of everlasting love become an obsession? Criminologist Dean Rollins finds himself on course to test the boundaries.
In Kentucky, while working on his second manuscript and dealing with a distant wife, Dean conducts interviews with an infamous Devil Worshipper in a well-known supermax prison. This murderous Southern man is part of a brotherhood who believe they must perform specific evil tasks to reap rewards in Hell. When he begins toying with Dean’s mind, how will things unfold?
Will Dean save himself from falling under the spells of his interviewee? Can he control his own destiny and pull his family out of The Rut?
Novel! “The Rut” Shall Be Published by BWP!
I have to say Micheal Jay Wright II gives a no-snores interview. It was packed with fun questions about my writing and even a slight dive into my personal life–in a good way.
Check out his novel “The Rise of Umbra” on Amazon. I read it and left it a solid review myself.

Thanks to the editor and creator, WJR Parks, of Spiffy Cats for giving me a column to write about something I am passionate about: Health.
But more than health. Strength.
This magazine is geared towards men, and a man should be strong, right? You don’t have to be Hercules or Schwarzenegger, but take care of your body and have a little muscle to provide and protect.
I won’t judge you either way. I’m not the kind.
The article is to help anyone needing that extra nudge to make change.
Be warned: as a men’s magazine, you may find nearly nude models or links to them. Think Playboy, or Maxim.
