My First Published Piece – Scrap Metal Memories

After writing a few short stories and spending so much time on trying to perfect them, I realized I still hadn’t sent any of my work out.  Then as I took my Japanese-style bath in blistering hot water I wrote a Flash Fiction piece loosely based on a true story that happened to someone very close to me–who will go unnamed.  Without editing much at all, I immediately sent the finished Scrap Metal Memories out and was excited to find that my very first attempt was accepted by the very generous people at Flash Fiction Magazine.  It goes live on December 20, 2015 at 9am Pacific Time.  Please read more, and support the place that gave me my first break, here:
